Russian Propaganda

Russian Propaganda Theme

The theme I’m concentrating on is about the power of Communism and how Communism could give advantages to the people. As you know Russia was the first country to have a Communist Government, so at first People didn’t know how good Communism was to the Russian people compared to the Absolute Monarchy. For instance, Communism provided equal rights, food, land & peace which people had wanted. Moreover, it helped Russian army and industries develop more than they ever had in the past.

This propaganda was about Lenin introducing Communism to the Russian people.
His left hand was up and that means he will offer peace, land & bread to the Russian people. On the other hand he was holding a Russian Communist Flag which means in exchange of his offer, the Russian people must accept his control and his way of leading the country. The white fur-coat represents his richness, and the gun represents his power.
This poster is related to the theme in a way which Lenin was the first person to accomplish his dream to be a communist leader.

This poster was published after Lenin’s death. In this poster Stalin is next to Lenin, which describes that he is the next Communist leader for Russia. The people were happy even after Lenin’s death, and which means the people loved and respected the new leader Stalin. In this poster the red color represents the power of Stalin. It was related to the theme in a way because Communism was still growing even after Lenin’s death.

This poster is about Stalin - he is giving a command to the comrades by pointing his finger toward WWII to fight out the Germans from his motherland. In this poster the Red color represents the power of Communists and the black color as Stalin’s Army. As you can see there are many people who are willing to fight and protect Russia; this means Nationalism is growing inside the hearts of Russian people. This poster is related to the theme because it describes how Communism was appreciated by Russian people.

Conclusion

The propaganda posters that were been posted on the internet shows that Russia was the first country to have communist government. The father of communist party was Lenin, he and his party was very organized. Russia was lucky to have a leader like Lenin, because he was the one who bring peace, land & food. People who live during those days had to work hard and the food was ration at first because of war communism.
Most of the propaganda had some sort of messages to the people. As you all know red color was the main color of communism and the father of communist party was Lenin. Most of the poster make by the communist government it was about forcing people to participate in different kind of work. There are many peasants and industries workers, so the posters are mostly about them. In most of the poster they got some sort of Russian words which explain the posters. During those days posters were like news paper so they just read the propaganda posters for new information on what the government was doing.
In most of the poster were use to promote equality between classes, women working, Describing Lenin power, and how communism was good for the people of Russia, Saying the red army was batter then the white. In those day propaganda was not as much important or par attention by many people as before.
